'Star' remains on thread even after mod deletes your post

OK there is currently no "report glitches" sub-board so I guess this is the best place to ask...

 

If I post a response on a thread, and the host 👮‍♀️ of that board in their infinite wisdom chooses to delete my post, the five-pointed star next to the thread title still remains.

The previous version of the boards (gawd, it seems like eons ago) removed the 'participated' symbol from the thread whenever that happened. And yeah, it happens a lot in my case 

 

Does anyone know if this is an issue that will eventually be solved, or one I will just have to live with?

What happens if you manually unfollow the thread? Does the star return to being a dot?

Nope - just tested that - the star remains on any topic you have posted on.

It is not something that in the works at the moment
