The tugs return pretty quickly to base once the ship has cleared the dock.

Agree they just seemed to be sitting there doing squat all. The first picture to video worked for me too btw. I guess the pilot is there for navigation of the geography and not for numpties.

Exactly, the pilot may offer advice as to how far away hazards are but in tight channels, there isn't a lot of room to manoeuvre.
