anthem room location

Has anyone ever been in a balcony on deck 13 under the Windjammer, if so how was the noise from above?

we were under the pool deck just outside the WJ in 2015 and had no issues with noise.

While not exactly the same thing....when we are on Grandeur we stay in a room directly under the windjammer on that boat.  Do you hear occasional noise...sure...the odd cart rolling through could be heard faintly from time to time.  But we never had any sounds that were 'intrusive' or an issue to us in anyway.  And we slept till 8:30 every day.

Such things ARE ship-specific, as well as location-specific.

Will let you know in a few days!  On the Jan. 26 sailing, and we're on deck 13 aft right below the Windjammer!  Loved the idea of just running up the stairs to all the fun!

We had connected cabins 13286 and 13288 on our last Anthem cruises and had no problems, what so ever, with noise from the Marketplace Windjammer above.

Error in my post above.

We were on starboard side so were in cabins 13686 and 13688 on Anthem last April.

I hadn't put on my reading glasses when looking at deck plan in RCI cruise book.

That is great to hear!!  We are in rooms 13264, 13266 and 13268 and I was worried about the same thing!!  I have been looking into trying to change our room because I was worried about the noise.

I am in room 13308 Portside in March .  Hoping it will not be too noisy.  I tend to be a light sleeper

We just had 13640 on Anthem and would not stay there again.  Way too noisy.  We were under the kitchen area of Coastal Kitchen which gets cleaned starting at 11:30 every night or it is used as a bowling alley! 😱  We had booked a WS guaranty, so we know it is luck of the draw.  There were no JS ever available to switch to once we got our cabin assignment, so we rolled the dice and lost.

I would not take deck 13,  but under the WJ,  it was a tad bit  better than when we were under the pool deck.

I was on deck 13 in March of last year.  We were under Johnny Rockets and the pool deck. Between the chairs being moved around and all the running late night and early morning... Never again.

I've been on deck 13 on the Anthem three times and not had noise issues.  13668, 13288 and 13662
