We are wondering while there is still time does anyone know about requirements for yellow fever vaccinations when cruising through the Panama Canal ?

Not required for a Canal Cruise.

Not required but a good precaution to have especially if planning on travel to South America or Africa as well. Of course, like with any medication, check with your doctor to make sure you can actually take it.

This is really a question for your doctor.  "Not Required" does not mean you shouldn't get one depending on your specific medical circumstances.  In my case, my doctor said that due to my age he would not recommend the vaccination.
