Normandie Restaurant?

we were looking at specialty dining on the summit, and we don't see the french restaurant any more.  What happened???

It is now Tuscan Grille. An Italian themed restaurant with steak options. All the Normandie clones on the M class ships are gone. They still exist on S class ships as Murano. Qsine will be gone also during the refurb. It is turning into Le Petit Chef at Qsine.

The actual panels and decor have been moved to the Edge and the Normandie is one of four non surcharge dining venues,

there was no Normandie restaurant on Solstice last year - only Tuscan Grille, Murano, Sushi on 5 and Silk Harvest

 The ocean liner-themed restaurants were on the  Millennium Class ships not the Solstice class which have Murano,

All of the French Style restaurants on the M-Class ships have been removed and replaced with either Tuscan or Qsine.   This was done between 1-3 years ago.  To me it was a big mistake.

We ate in Murano when we sailed Reflection last year and we loved it.  We were looking forward to Normandie on the Summit.  I guess that won't happen now.  😥

Back in the day the ocean liners restaurants served luxurious three hour meals similar to what is now being offered at chefs table.  Think parade of waiters simultaneously serving everyone at table.  Much more elegant than Murano or Tuscan Grill.
