I’m hoping this is offered early on our Spectrum of the Seas cruise in April/May. Can the punch cards be used across a B2B cruise (on the same ship)? If the cards are available often - it won’t really matter, I’ll just buy them as they run out.

carlandlyn Posted February 4, 2019 #29 Share Posted February 4, 2019 We have only seen this once, recently, and it was about day 4 on a 7 day cruise. It was advertised on the cruise compass. Its especially good if you only have a few drinks a day, but you can not rely on it being available on all cruises. it would be nice to see what percentage of the cruises it has been offered. The card we got was fairly low tech, and the bar staff just signed it off after each drink. Good luck. Lynn and Carl
SanzD Posted July 1, 2019 #30 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Has anyone seen a drink card or beer card on a recent Harmony of the Seas sailing? We leave Sunday and are hoping they offer one of these deals. Thanks
Corby114 Posted July 1, 2019 #31 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Spoke with one of the Bar Managers on my last Royal Caribbean cruise in June 2018 in reference to the ten drink cards. He explained that they normally are introduced mid cruise and are only sold when liquor sales are on the low side. It’s a corporate decision made by one of the suits sitting behind a desk at their headquarters in Miami, Florida. As for that sailing from Southampton liquor was flowing freely since most of the passengers were from Great Britain and they all had the drink package so the drink cards never appeared. During that sailing I saw numerous employees walking briskly with five liter bottles of vodka under there arms. It was a great two week sailing. Met many interesting individuals and the bar staff at Playmakers Sports Bar were great.

But the $49 beer card was offered from the very beginning. Does anyone know if the beer card includes ciders?

Since the beer card is only offered onboard, this is a question you can ask before you purchase. It could vary ship to ship.
gadaboutgal Posted August 7, 2019 #34 Share Posted August 7, 2019 Wondering if the card is usable on subsequent cruises? If you are on a back to back, would it carry over? Anyone know?

Sunshine3601 Posted October 9, 2019 #42 Share Posted October 9, 2019 The last time I saw this advertised was on Serenade OTS last January. I will be on Allure and Serenade this January for a b2b - that would be great if either of those ships sell the card. We are prime casino members so our drinks are free in casino but nice to get a drink at other bars without having to pay full price. I also look to see what daily drink special is too. I too want to purchase as a supplement to the prime casino drinks. Was thinking if you knew you were going back again you could purchase extras to use on the first days of your next cruise. Tip to those wondering if your sailing will have them and when, you could try asking in a roll call for a recent past sailing of your itin. Ask every day, couldn't hurt but never seen offered at start of Cruise. Only good offers in first half Cruise is Bucket of Beer. Agree Shareable is best benefit of the Card, Happy Hunting! If you can get one on the your first B2B can you use it on your second B2B?
Colorado Babe Posted February 2, 2020 #45 Share Posted February 2, 2020 We have purchased this card and think it is a great deal. It doesn't happen on every ship. You can ask at any of the bars and they will let you know if they are offering it.
