8 passenger suggestions from Suffolk County, LI to Manhattan terminal?

Does anyone have any recommendations for 8 passengers plus luggage from Suffolk County to Manhattan Cruise terminal? 

 

Our family of 5 usually drives our mini van and parks, but we are taking 3 other family members/friends and will not fit in our minivan. 

 

I don't think we would even fit in an Escalade or other large private SUV.  Is there a larger bus/van type to look for? Any company recommendations?

Check with Dial 7 but I looked up quick on our Carmel App, from ISP Airport out on the island to MCT on a typical Saturday morning - book in advance & reconfirm, they offer a large/full-size van, it wil easily handle 8 to 10 passengers, plus 8 pc. of checked luggage - hand/smaller hand luggage that can stack should be fine - for $270 one-way, plus toll (nominal surcharge for congestion included already) of $8.50 - tips not included. 

 

Uber's XLT i.e. those Suburb will definitely NOT be anywhere near adequate for those 8 pc. of luggage plus passengers.

Make sure to price out two vehicles, I’ve found that is a cheaper option for our family of 7 from NJ.

Have you considered LIRR then Uber to port? On a weekend especially it could be very cost effective.

Excellent point on pricing out 2 vehicles; unless everyone "must" sit & ride together in one vehicle - split up to 4 & 4, or maybe 3 and 5, a minivan can yield extra & plentiful space with the 3rd row seats not used.  

 

The amount of luggage taken is probably the key determining factors ...

 We use a limo company located in Nassau County. You might want to call them for a quote if you live close to Nassau County.The company is Affordable Car and Limo Service.

Thank you all!....never thought of getting quote for 2 cars.  Will check that out. 

 

LIRR is not an option.  We will be traveling during the week and it will be way too busy.
