GoodScout Posted February 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2019 Have noticed on several cruises folks playing bridge in the card room or library. I'm not a fanatic bridge player (my wife doesn't play at all), but I wouldn't mind being available as a fourth now and then. Any suggestions of how to make this known without committing myself to a full 11 days of card playing? Would be interested in hearing from those who've played cards on their trips how they ended up finding people to play with. Thanks!
jelayne Posted February 10, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2019 Join the Roll Call for your cruise and post your interest there. That will alert the other bridge players on your sailing of your interest.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted February 10, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2019 Agree with Jelayne join the roll call and post your interest. On our last TA on Silhouette the ship was also sponsoring Bridge Playing during the crossing in the main restaurant daily.
NantahalaCruiser Posted February 10, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2019 (edited) And sometimes there are postings on a bulletin board. Unfortunately, they removed the card rooms on M-class and turned the space into the elevated serving areas at Cafe al Bacio - hence they now generally play in the Oceanview Cafe.
