RMMariner Posted March 1, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2019 Applied for shareholder OBC for a one day Vancouver to Seattle. The shareholder benefit request form only says cruises 6 days or less. I assumed that meant that 1 day cruises would count, but it has been a couple days and nothing is showing on our cruise account. Usually the OBC shows up very quickly. Before I follow up on this, I figured I would enquire here. Does anyone know definitively if 1 day cruises are eligible for shareholder OBC? Thanks. DrivesLikeMario Posted March 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2019 That's weird. I think they would've posted it if you were going to get it. I just sent in ours a few days ago and it was applied within 50 mins. and this was between 6pm-7pm.
Thrak Posted March 1, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2019 (edited) The info clearly states that for cruises of 6 days or less the benefit is $50. Edited March 1, 2019 by Thrak
suzyed Posted March 1, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 1, 2019 DH recently submitted the shareholder form for 3 of our upcoming cruieses....one in March, one in October and one in November. The shareholder benefit was applied within hours for the Oct & Nov. sailings but not the March one which is first. He called and they said to wait 7 days. Made no sense. So instead of waiting, he just re-submitted it and voila, it was applied within a few hours! They must have just misplaced it! Thrak, maybe just re-submit it? NavyVeteran Posted March 2, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2019 I received $100 OBC for a one-day Seattle to Vancouver cruise - $50 for shareholder and $50 for military. My only problem was finding something to spend the non-refundable shareholder credit on in the short time onboard.

sandyoftheseas Posted March 2, 2019 #8 Share Posted March 2, 2019 Years ago we did the same cruise Vancouver to Seattle. My husband bought a nice jacket that he still wears. The ship was moving from Alaska to the Caribbean so the jacket was on sale. On another 1 day cruise I bought some jewelry that I would normally not purchase on a ship. westcoaster Posted March 2, 2019 #9 Share Posted March 2, 2019 I got the $50 Shareholder OBC on a 1-day Seattle to Vancouver cruise a few years ago. The cruise fare was only $39, so it was a great deal!
macusr Posted March 15, 2019 #10 Share Posted March 15, 2019 We just got our $50 OBC applied for our upcoming 1 day cruise on Ruby in May.
RMMariner Posted March 15, 2019 Author #11 Share Posted March 15, 2019 Thank you for the responses. The Princess reps have sent me an email indicating that we have the $50, but they cannot get it to show on the Personalizer. As it gets closer to the departure date, if it still does not show, I may talk to them again.
sandyoftheseas Posted March 15, 2019 #12 Share Posted March 15, 2019 (edited) RMMariner- I would recommend to keep a copy of that e-mail just in case it doesn't show on your Personalizer. We always keep a copy of all of our OBC just in case. Edited March 15, 2019 by sandyoftheseas edit
Rare HaveDogWillTravel Posted March 15, 2019 #13 Share Posted March 15, 2019 I use a Princess vacation planner. He takes care of all this for me. Once I had it applied to any one cruise he was able to get it on all my others. I would phone princess and get it visible on the travel docs.
