I prefer the DL location on Mariner.

^ pretty good use of that space.

From an esthetic and room decor perspective the new DL or "Club" as they call it is nicer on deck 5.  Star Lounge as overflow is bigger than VCL and potentially easier to police for card inspections.

Forgetting location for a moment the new DL (or DC) is nicer with more seating.  It does lack the views that the old DL or current SL has but it is more convenient on deck 5.  Aft port elevators won't be crazy busy at 4-6pm anymore either.

I like it.

Really, the old Connoisseur Club has more seating than the Mariner DL in Viking Crown?  That surprises me, because I was just in the Connoisseur Club (now card/game room) on Adventure, and it seemed smaller that the DL in Viking Crown.

In the VCL DL there is seating for around 30, less on M ariner if I recall.  The 'Club' on Navigator deck 5 has seating for 34.  Not a huge difference.

Here is Adventure's DL after her makeover.  The windows may create a feeling of a larger space.

The galley tour was a great pick. Wonderful Lunch, bottom less Champange.  Met some great folks at our table. Choice of Steak, Chicken or Seafood    Dish. Items in picks was on the table when we sat down.

I've really enjoyed all the videos thank you!  I'm sailing on NAVIGATOR this Sunday.  One thing I'm really curious about is the gym and spa.  The gym has been moved aft, and the spa looks much smaller.  I'm guessing no more complimentary steam/sauna either.

Looking forward to trying the new Laser Tag onboard.

The water slides look neat, but obviously for the kiddy/younger family audience (which is OK). Of course...I'll be trying those as well once...as I did iFly, FlowRider, Zip Line, Rock Climb, and other new things on RCI ships so that I can brag I did them (and survived)... 🤣

What is that tall tower with the giant spring next to the waterslide stairs? Is it something for communication or wifi?  TY. :classic_biggrin:

Stairs are for the Water Slide
