Carnival Conquest cost of pictures

Can anyone that has been on the Conquest recently tell me how much they are charging for the pictures they take now? (embarkation, port, etc.) I leave in 8 days and would like to know ahead of time. TIA

I just sailed on Conquest (Feb 24th) and only the part that reads "Purchase on Board" and beyond is correct. They have all digital photos and you have to purchase the photo as an 8 x 10 or 2 5 x 7's before you can do anything else. Therefore, there were NO photos that you could purchase for less than $19.99. Hope that helps. I surely did miss the 11.99 and up photos. I argued with an employee who stated they "are cheaper" now. Math must not be a strong suit. Anyway, I had a great time on the ship and spent a ton of money on the awesome photos!!

They print them off on 8x10 sheets.  You have the option of choosing either an 8x10, 2-5x7's , one 5x7 and four wallets or 8 wallets.

we simply stopped buying them!!

 

Value for money and other misc. considerations.

Same!  Don't remember last time we bought a photo.  Don't even stop for the embark ones anymore- just walk right by.

Oh we don't mind

if they waste their time taking embarkation and other photos

- and we will go take a look in the gallery, just to have a laugh!

 

If our pics are exceptionally nice, i.e. close to perfect

we might MIGHT buy it, but by and large we are done with Photos!

And we are not alone in this.

If we stop at a new port, we will get the ones standing in front of the life preserver with the island name on it.  Otherwise, we don't get any of them anymore.  We did notice on this last cruise on the Horizon that they would have two photographers taking your picture at the same time.  Neither one would turn out right because of the angles.
