The menu is very abbreviated, maybe 2 or 3 choices of entree.   Wine is included, all you can drink of the lowest end wine on the ship.

We did it a few years ago. You won't go hungry and by a few glasses in you will forget its crap wine. Honestly, we had fun because of the company we were with. We were pretty terrible at the game but I generally lose interest in murder mysteries about an hour in....

So far for our Allure 5/19 sailing there is no Murder Mystery Dinner in the cruise planner.  I would really like to do it but even if offered will probably skip it since we have UDP.

Very low end wine and it’s very corny but fun, I quessed who did it and was given a lots of stuff , bottle of champagne, backpack etc etc. food was good.
