Thanks. We just wet the bottom of the curtain to give it weight. Never been an issue for us.
Grandma Cruising Posted March 21, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2019 I’ve heard people suggest magnets, or heavy fold back clips on the bottom to weigh it down. Never bothered myself.
audobon_tx Posted March 21, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Don't bother. Non-issue.
Rare uktog Posted March 22, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2019 Never bothered. More useful to bring a magnetic clip to hold all the paperwork you want accessible but don’t want to leave lying on surfaces. The walls are magnetic

More paper than is strewn about my office at home. Good one for the tips spreadsheet.

And if you play the 'trivia' quizzes, you can win some Azamara magnetic clips which do this job superbly well on future cruises.

screen-gem Posted March 22, 2019 #11 Share Posted March 22, 2019 These magnetic hooks are part of our cruise cabin kit. They stick to the walls. Will hold papers, belts, hats, just about anything. http://www.leevalley.com/us/wood/page.aspx?p=73796&cat=1,42363,42348
Werangels Posted March 22, 2019 Author #12 Share Posted March 22, 2019 Brilliant. Are there no hooks in the cabin or bathroom?
screen-gem Posted March 22, 2019 #13 Share Posted March 22, 2019 No hooks in the cabin. As I recall there's a hook of some sort in the bathroom, and one on the bathroom door. We travel with an inexpensive (i.e. cheap!) hanging back-of-door shoe organizer that we hang on the bathroom door hook. That holds all sorts of little things: sunglasses, chargers, cables for chargers:-), headphones, bottles of pills and magic potions, suntan, etc, etc and etc. On our last cruise, we also took something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Whitmor-Hanging-Shoe-Shelves-Organizer/dp/B00K5NBQGO/ Put it in the closet, to hold scarves, and other light-weight items of clothing. Maybe even some shoes! The magnetic hooks get put on the wall in the cabin (or stateroom, if you prefer.) All extremely useful.

It's been a while since I was on the Journey. I don't remember any hooks, but there might have well been some.
Grandma Cruising Posted March 23, 2019 #16 Share Posted March 23, 2019 There are also 2 hooks on the inside of the bathroom door. I take 2 hanging organisers, a wide one & a narrow one and hang them both inside the bathroom door. I use them for sun cream, hair products, creams & potions. It means they are very easy to find.
