Barb Nahoumi Posted March 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2019 I just checked the Gem's Bridge Cam, and it showed the ship still tied up at the Black Falcon Pier in Boston. Is everything OK, or was the sail away time changed from its usual 4pm. Just wondering.

Barb Nahoumi Posted March 29, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted March 29, 2019 Yup, yes it is. Can't wait for our turn in May. I wish a Bon Voyage to all who are aboard for the Gem's first Boston to Bermuda cruise today.
Safeandsound Posted March 29, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2019 The Gem is actually off today on a 14 day southern Caribbean itinerary today. When she returns she will begin her Boston to Bermuda runs. I'm happy to have the Gem in Boston this summer. S&S

Rare 1025cruise Posted March 30, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 30, 2019 Probably took longer to get supplies on board then if its a longer cruise.
CILCIANRQTS Posted March 31, 2019 #7 Share Posted March 31, 2019 There was a thread awhile back on what to call the Boston pier. We got our docs today for May Gem to Bermuda. NCL still lists the pier as Black Falcon!
don't-use-real-name Posted April 1, 2019 #8 Share Posted April 1, 2019 The Black Falcon Cruise Terminal was renamed in honor of the late Raymond L. Flynn former Boston Mayor and marine enthusiast. You will find the Black Falcon still the name of recognition - you are in the right place catching the right NCL ship - nothing to fret about - enjoy your cruise. Barb Nahoumi Posted April 1, 2019 Author #9 Share Posted April 1, 2019 I wish that PTZ TV would be installed at Black Falcon or Flynn Pier, so we can watch ships from home, as we do at other cruise ship ports.
NormanW Posted April 1, 2019 #10 Share Posted April 1, 2019 Extra beer staging causes delays on the right coast ports. 😉 Cheers, Norman
