Elation -- Good Bad and Ugly

Hi.  I am wondering about the Elation?  I have sailed on the Sensation and loved that ship. It looks like Elation is the same class of ship.    For those that have sailed on her what are your thoughts?  How is the Casino?  Are there enough deck chairs?  I just got off the Liberty for the third time last week and love the Liberty.   Anyone want to share any feedback on Elation that would be great.

I have sailed on the Elation twice in the last two years and had a great time both times. I have a review in my signature. 😎

Just sailed the elation in March.  the casino was fine. Actually there were many nights that it was so empty there were dealers just standing at empty tables.

 

Never had an issue getting a deck chair.  The "adults only" area was more crowded but we found if we got a chair on the upper level around lido or in area on lido deck between guy's burger and stage there were always empty seats.  

 

We had a great time and actually looking at booking on the elation again next year.

I'm not a casino person, so I can't comment. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Serenity Deck was busy but that's because it is in the most awesome aft location. Absolutely great location for serenity

Our first cruise was on the Elation. She is special and I would go again anytime.

we were on the Elation over Spring Break last Month. We loved it.

My first three cruises were on Elation. She's gone through upgrades since then though. I don't think she got the alchemy bar if that's something you're looking for.

Am I the only person who ever tried the new balcony rooms and found them to be so small they didn't even have a chair (nor did our friends next door) in the room?

Those photos are nice, but are of the pre-modification Elation.  Anyone have any more recent shots?

Honestly, most of the Fantasy classes are very similar. They really don't vary in deck layout too much. It's going to be fairly similar to Sensation, with some different decor. I also don't believe there is an Alchemy bar.
