Rare uktog Posted April 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2019 We have always been told Azamara listened to feedback and promotion decisions looked at feedback. On our not so good Pursuit cruises reviews we mentioned one employee on each of our three surveys whom we thought was punching way above her weight and knocked her bosses into a corner in term of service and attention to detail. Indeed on our review post on these boards we talked about changing restaurants to be served by her and how when Aqualina morphed into a disaster on cruise 3 (and she was moved from Speciality to MDR) we followed her and gave up our suite perk to enjoy her continued good service which was a huge saving grace. Well, we have heard today via Twitter that Natalea has been promoted to be a Head Waiter, a great achievement for this young lady from the UK in quite a male environment. Well done to her and, hoping it was because Azamara listened to the feedback of several guests, thank you Azamara

What a great promotion! Certainly during and after every cruise we try to identify those who have shone with their attitude and effort. Your post is encouraging as to the benefits of this approach. Lottie A Posted April 10, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2019 I saw the news on Natalea's promotion on FB. Well Done to her and to Azamara for recognising her star abilities. I'm sure your positive feedback would have helped her Ann. A crew member I know well once told me that he would much rather have his name mentioned on the feedback form in a positive way than have any tip. Needless to say he got both from me as he was just amazing. He got the "employee of the month" award too as many other guests also recognised his excellence and commented on it. This is one of the reasons that everyone should receive the post cruise feedback form, so that we can comment and praise the crew who go above and beyond for us. 1

excitedofharpenden Posted April 10, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2019 I've just seen Natalea on Pursuit and she had become a Team Leader so she has another step up. Well done! Phil
Lookyboy Posted April 11, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 11, 2019 We had also highlighted Natalea's strengths following our first sailing on Pursuit, as we felt she had learned very quickly and had come such a long way since we had first met her.
