ESTA for Alaska?

When we did Alaska (in 2005!...where does the time go!?), we did  a trip to Carcross,BC from Skagway. We caught the White Pass train back from the border at Fraser and the conductor on the train checked our passports. He even admonished us, as we didn't have the green waiver card in our passport!...but he let us off! So nowadays, you will need a US ESTA...just in case.

What address do you use on the ESTA for the cruise?

When cruising out of the USA we have used the hotel address we were staying at prior to the cruise.  When we cruised from Australia to the USA we used the hotel address that we were staying at in Hawaii.
