jadedhart Posted May 3, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2019 I apologize for this as I know I’ve seen threads on this subject but I can seem to find them again. I’ve also tried to find this info on royals website with no luck. So please help... I was just notified that I won my upgrade bid to a JS on AOS. What are the perks? Does it include Voom? In room coffee maker? Priority boarding etc? Or is that just GS and above? thanks
Merion_Mom Posted May 3, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Coffee & tea makers, yes. Priority boarding, such as it is, yes. What class of ship? You may have a walk-in closet. Bathtub in the bathroom. Bathrobes for use during your cruise. Lovely silver SeaPass card.

Not K-Cup, round, ill-fitting packets that make a big mess. Get the free room service coffee, much easier. 3
TeeRick Posted May 3, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Two C&A points per night is another benefit to a JS.
Lady Hudson Posted May 3, 2019 #9 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Not sure 2 points per night for winning a bid. Anyone else have additional information?

And are just as bad, I am with Bob...use room service. Me, I like to get up and out early, fill our travel mugs and then bring back to the sleepy head DH to share on our balcony. Winning the bid only get a JS benefit. Another benefit of JS is Coastal Kitchen restaurant for dinner. It was an upgrade from MDR food. Correct myself Adventure of The seas don't have Coastal Kitchen 😞 Edited May 3, 2019 by CruiseLand

The round filter packets that they supply are too large for the coffee maker (4-cup packets for a one cup coffee maker). We bring Senseo packets with us. Those are designed for single serve machines and work perfectly in the coffee makers. The nice thing is Senseo packets are available in several different roasts and flavors - we like the french roast ones from target. It's been Royal's policy not to award extra points for staterooms that were booked at less than the going rate. Royal has not publicly revealed their reasons for implementing this policy.
