Seaside YC departure timing?

Looking at flights for our October cruise out of MIA.  IF the ship docks as scheduled at 7 and IF there are no customs delays, about what time could we reasonably expect to be curbside with our luggage?  We will not be carrying luggage off ourselves, but we do anticipate using the butler escorted departure that is offered.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Obviously YMMV, but I just got off yesterday. First, they use facial recognition so you just stand on an X and look at a camera and then go. No passport needed. There were 4 lines and they moved very fast. It seemed that Americans were standing on the X for 5 seconds or less.

Second, with the butler, you are escorted off. There were only 4 people in front of us to exit the ship so no lines were cut, but I suspect if there was a big line you would get cuts.

Third, the ship should get there before 7am.

We carried our luggage off, but from the time we left the lounge until we were outside and hailed a Lyft it took about 15min. It was incredibly fast. We left the lounge at about 8:15am and my Lyft history shows we got picked up 8:36am and it took about 5min to get the car...so 15min to get off the ship.

We've done two there but always took our own bags.  Both times 15 minutes or less.  So if you can easily find bags in terminal add a couple minutes.

Really depends on customs.  In March it was like 4 lanes with facial recognition and one agent checking passports.

As always, YMMV.

You won't need Global Access. This is how it went for us last month.

You walk off the ship with butler escort to gangway. Proceed to camera area where your face is scanned. If green light, you go, otherwise you pull out your passport to show agent. Then you walk down to the baggage area, get your bags, then walk outside. That's it! Not sure about the customs part. No customs declaration form or lines.

I’m assuming you are YC. That luggage is placed at the far end, closest to terminal exit. Easy peasey with the butler escort to head of line, facial scanning. Hardest part is meeting up with your driver as it is a bit of a zoo.
