Medallions Don't Fit in the Sport Band! What am I Doing wrong?

I got the same bands. They have to be placed just so, it seems to be magnetic. Try turning it around and playing around with it. Once I placed it ok there correctly it appears to be tight. 

 

I am boarding the Caribbean Princess tomorrow so I’ll let you know if it falls out.

Hmmmm... Now I am wondering how safe it is to scuba with the sport band. I don't want to lose my medallion in the ocean. Maybe I should go with the Fitbit.
