Royal Princess excursions tragedy in Alaska

I know this is the Carnival forum, but I’m sure there are Carnival guests who have been on these float plane excursions in Alaska.  

 

Two float planes collided mid air.  All 5 passengers in one plane died, while one of the 11 passengers on the other plane is missing.  So sad.

We took a float plane on a Ketchican tour our daughter who had a pilot's license got to ride copilot. Everything was fine my father in law and brother in law are pilots and own their own planes. It is a very small occurrence but a tragedy. You are safer in a plane than a car statistical speaking.
