Late night flight from Rio

We are planning a cruise that ends in Rio de Janeiro  (Oceania).  Debarkation is somewhere between 8-9 am.  Our flight home would not be until around midnight.  Question....does anybody know of any places that would pick up at port, do a tour and then take us back to the airport ?   Not even sure how to phrase a Google question. Any advice would be appreciated.

One suggestion is to do what we’re doing if your ship docks during the previous day. Our ship (Azamara Pursuit) will be in Rio all day the day before disembarkation and we’re flying home that evening. We will leave the ship at about 7pm having had dinner and go straight to the airport. All we will miss is breakfast on the last morning. We emailed Azamara before we booked our flights to check this would be OK and they said we just need to tell Guest Relations once onboard that we will be leaving early.

Great idea....will have hubby look into it.

We stayed in Rio for a few days and used a private guide, Tour Guide Gus (http://www.tourguidegus.com/), for a day tour.  He mentioned that he often picks up disembarking cruise passengers, tours with them all day, and then provides transportation to the airport.  He is a great tour guide and is highly rated on TripAdvisor (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g303506-d4976222-Reviews-TourGuideGus-Rio_de_Janeiro_State_of_Rio_de_Janeiro.html)

Lunenburg, thanks. Will contact Marcelo as well.      Now I have to look for a hotel in Barcelona where our cruise starts and one in Rio where our cruise ends.

Tried to contact Tour Guide Gus.  Site doesn't seem to work.

His email address on TripAdvisor is gusguide@hotmail.com and that is the one we used in December 2016.  Hope that helps!

Capriccio...thank you so much! Using your info we were able to contact Gus and lock him in for the day we need.

I'm so happy for you.  It's been more than 2 years since our tour with Gus but we (me, DH, my sister and brother-in-law) frequently reminisce about our LA to Rio cruise noting that touring with Gus was a definite highlight.  Have a wonderful tour and cruise!
