That stinks such an easy (cheap) trip by public bus to get to the mansions and walk along the cliffs.
Rare Redsky5292 Posted May 24, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2019 It's very windy here in Central CT, so I can only imagine how windy it is on the water in RI.
Rare mking8288 Posted May 24, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2019 Thank you for the update, was following seadog on the other live post, check the ship cam to see her running late to port, then a 180 turn, away and out to sea again ... figured that conditions not safe to tender for that 15 minutes ride to go ashore, transfer to the lifeboat last Friday was briefly hallted due to movement. Ship's satellite WiFi must've been very busy for web traffic, unless you picked up an usable cellular land signal near Block Island. Enjoy your "extra" sea day. Rare G-DawgMN Posted May 25, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2019 It was disappointing to miss the port but it was crazy windy. I can't imaging what it would have been like to be a life boat for the ride to shore.
