Just a comment about the chef’s choice amenity. On our past few 7 night cruises we only received the plate of goodies one time. And in the last few months we taken a several three or four night cruise on Harmony, and B2B on Mariner and nothing was delivered at all.  I am guessing they don’t do it anymore for the short cruises

They add some perks at 340 and 525 points. 

 

340: Expanded amenity list.  Extra amenity for cruises of 7 days of longer. Meal with an officer.  Upgraded bathroom amenities, 150% solo supplement.

 

525: Expanded amenity list.  Extra amenity for cruises of 7 days or longer.

Just booked our first RCI cruise, but we are Elite Plus on Celebrity... am trying to figure out our C&A benefits... Looked at the list of benefits onboard letter... thanks for the link... it was more informative than the list of benefits...  I understand that we will be considered Diamond on RCI...

 

 Laundry we get a coupon for $10 off?  Is that per person, per cruise? Is there a laundry room on most ships? Is there a laundry line in the shower... I have my own with magnets!  We have to request bathrobes???  

 

In the Diamond lounge we can get specialty coffee in the AM? How crowded is the morning buffet in the Diamond Lounge? 

 

Do we get room service included instead of the $7.95 charge or do we have to be plus????

 

Internet benefits seem limited to a free day or $19.99 off a package???  Any advice about Internet onboard... except to follow the crew when we hit port for local internet!

 

Any other advice on getting the most out of the benefits is appreciated...

Go on line and selection your welcome gift drink type.

Diamond lounge is a great quiet place to hang out

Diamond lounge - 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm all the drinks you can stomach. Also Canape' available at the same time.

Diamond drinks loaded to card - three of a variety of drinks available from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm in most lounges and MDR.

Snacks available in the Diamond lounge through out the day

Coupons are per person and one time use.  There are no guest laundry or ironing facilities on Royal ships, nor will they lend irons to guests.  Some ships have laundry lines in the shower/tub.

 

The morning continental breakfast is not crowded at all, but there can be a line at the specialty coffee machine.

 

Room service is only included if you are in a Grand Suite or better.

Prices went up and so did the benefit - $23 off. On Quantum class and Harmony iMessage texts get (along with some other internet traffic) through without buying VOOM.
