JuliaMS Posted June 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2019 We booked a 2 1/2 hour Ollie's Trolly tour of Acadia NP in the morning. And we figure Lunch in town after. What else do you suggest for Bar Harbor?
mets123 Posted June 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2019 Just wander around. Plenty of home made ice cream shops and blueberry pies to sample.

Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted June 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2019 Take a walk along the water front trail. You will go behind the beautiful houses and the water view is great. . . . and it is free. We had a rainy day with fog and it was still a good experience.
BarbinMich Posted June 27, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 27, 2019 Also, if you're there at low tide you can walk across the temporarily dry seabed to offshore Bar Island. Just be sure to come back before the tide returns!
bunzini Posted June 29, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 29, 2019 Is Oly's Trolley something we should book in advance?

You certainly don'y have to, but why take the chance on the time frame you want being sold out...This applies to the tours with Acadia National Park also. hapster85 Posted June 29, 2019 #8 Share Posted June 29, 2019 Is Oly's Trolley something we should book in advance? We saw quite a few walk-ups when we were there, but I'd still recommend booking in advance as Ashland mentioned.
