Nice PC statement.  😉  I believe it was the LA who was overseeing a lot of things on our cruises with MJ.

Monarch had a Suite Ambassador at one time.  I suspect he did the same thing as a concierge, but corporate would not give the HD on Monarch the approval to use the word concierge, so the HD worked around that.

Sounds about right.  JD did a lot of that "my way" special things also when he was HD on MJ.  Adored him!

You are correct. My mistake calling him concierge. Since he was supposedly the one in charge that was the label I attached.

We have many times enjoyed Rosario strings on Grandeur. Found out there are different people who are still under that name

Ahh...makes sense.  A "franchise" of Rosario Strings.  😉  Agree...They were always good when we saw them.

Yes, we noticed that on Monarch also, but they were all excellent.

I was on MJ last week.  Best diamond cocktail hours I've had in recent memory.  Vernon the loyalty ambassador was wearing two hats, functioning as both the LA and as concierge.  He was at the VCL every night schmoozing with everyone.  Great guy.  He got me and another guy off the ship just as the clearance to go ashore was being announced and he went with us to help decorate a cabana for a surprise birthday party - they finished the announcement as we boarded a golf cart and sped off.

Many thanks for your quick response!  I’ll be happy using the 3 drink vouchers during happy hours.  Looking forward to exploring a ship that’s new to us!

That wont take long, but the elevators will drive you crazy

And sushi!  🙂😉

Do you remember Monarch, as we were coming into Nassau just before noon, they had that really nice upper tier event in the lounge.  Great service, tropical shooters, sushi station, nice munchies on trays brought to you, and those oh so good Bloody Mary's!  🙂

Sigh...how things have changed.  Now there are no more fun upper tier events on less than 7 nights.  😞

Appletini and cosmos in the little plastic cups. They add up quick.

We really enjoyed those events on Monarch and they were always well attended.   Loved watching the ship sailing into Nassau from that vantage point.  We also miss the "good ole days"!

What was fun is when she made the left turn at speed. 😱

Enjoy!  At first I was not happy about MJ coming to PC when it did...was too much in love with EN (and now miss her again!). 😉  But grew to love MJ...and most especially her crew...as was the great crew on Monarch.  🙂

Did you do any on Sovereign in PC? We did just one. Right before she left. $99 insides, no single supplement.  Had a pair across the hall from each other

I believe he moved to Enchantment,  then disappeared

We just saw Desmond in the Schooner Bar.  Pretty sure it was on the Serenade.

Oh dear, well my knees not being as good as they once were, patience will be my mantra!

To get from VCL to MDR you have to change elevators. Take the path through Schooner instead of the casino.

Plus you have to take half a flight of stairs to get to the forward elevators on a couple of the public decks. Its crazy

He's fine!  Looks a bit older with some grey but still working behind the bar.
