Does this mean Star will have medallions in June, or just the medallion internet?

No, as mentioned, it's just the wi-fi internet, not full Ocean Medallion as yet

Yah we tried them out on the Crown this summer and I was not impressed. It's awkward to carry around (I don't do lanyards and refuse to pay for a medallion wristband) and I never felt like my cabin door was secure because it would randomly unlock when I was down the hallway. And when paying for things onboard it would charge me multiple times, luckily I caught it on my stateroom account. At the International Café they didn't have me sign anything for coffee anymore, so no receipt as proof.  OM just seems like a fancy new tech thing that tech fans (and teens) will love, but for those of us who have cruised over the decades and like to keep it simple...please just give me my cruise card.
