gullcruiser Posted August 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 13, 2019 Will be in Copenhagen a few days before cruise and need suggestions on where to stay . Looking for something not too far from Port but close enough to pick up tours, etc. Also, since my flight leaves at 9:40 I believe I'll need to spend an extra night there after cruise is over due to limited time in getting to airport. Any suggestions on where to stay near airport? Thank you for any suggestions!
Rare LHT28 Posted August 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 13, 2019 I would ask on the Europe forum https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/116-northern-europe-amp-baltic-sea/ You cannot have both 😉 either stay near the port or near the city centre it is a short ride to the port from the city centre

mnsweeps Posted August 21, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 21, 2019 How do you get from Hotel Bethel to the port? I assume the port is called Freeport of Copenhagen ...we would be on Norwegian cruise.

Your cruise will presumably depart from Oceankaj, but you can check it here: http://www.cmport.com/ships-in-port/cruise-ships/season-current You essentially have two options when you're going to Oceankaj: Public transportation: There are changes coming to the public transport network in the coming months/year so it depends on when you are going on your cruise. You can see your options on www.journeyplanner.dk Taxi: A regular taxi will cost around 200 DKK, maybe a little bit more, depending on time, day and traffic. mnsweeps Posted August 21, 2019 #8 Share Posted August 21, 2019 Thanks for info Dane. On NCL site, https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/Port%20Directions_Copenhagen.pdf . Isn't that different from Oceankaj?
