Carnival Casino Promo...Free Drinks?

I just booked Carnival Inspiration for our anniversary.  First vacation in 20 years without kids!

We booked the casino promo $50 free play and free drinks when playing...Restrictions apply? 🤔 Anyone know what that means?  Not a big deal, just curious.  First time "adulting" without kids in tow.  LOL

The drinks are only for the person who got the promo, not for everybody in the cabin.

You must be in the casino "playing" when you order a drink.  The DOU card does not apply at the casino bar but through the casino waiters. 15 drinks per day per person is also another restriction. Enjoy

I have seen several promos lately that include DOU for your travelling companion..

My wife is a casino player and we have taken several casino promo cruises.  In each case I was give complimentary drinks also even though I don't gamble much.

Premier and Getaway offers always include free drinks while playing for the person who got the offer and second person booked in the room. 

 

For other casino rates with a DOU card you need to read the fine print as to whether the second person also gets a DOU card.

Also check the fine print to see whether or not it says free drinks "when you qualify".  If so, you'll have to earn the points for DOU card before you can use it.

Limit of 15 drinks per day.  Tip per drink if you want great service.  Only good while in the casino from wait staff not at bar

Ultra, premier and getaway casino fares comp free drinks in the casino for 2 people in a cabin.  Elite, which I've never done, probably does too.

It seems the other casino fares offer free drinks after qualifying, which may or may not at the usual 1500 point total, I don't know.

 

If you are just sitting at a machine, or standing behind someone playing, you can certainly order a free drink from one of the roving beverage staff.  Establish a rapport with one or two, call them by name, tip when they bring the zero charge to sign, and you'll get free drinks any time you're on the casino floor.  (doesn't work at the casino bar).

Elite is the Cheers package. Anywhere on the ship, including the coffee bar.  Of course, you’ve probably already paid for it if you’ve been invited on an Elite cruise 😂.

I ended up calling Carnival to find out about my promo.  It is the All Waves Fun Casino promo.  Still cant find anything online about it! LOL

Anyway, $50 free play and DOU for me only.

First time with Carnival and first time with a Casino offer.  Would be nice if they were a little more forward with the offer info.  It is a bit of a bummer to have to dig for it 😒
