Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 7, 2019 Author #1476 Share Posted September 7, 2019 I wonder if a Captain feels the same way when a police boat is behind them, especially if they have their lights on? Was it the donuts last night that we did? 1
Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 7, 2019 Author #1477 Share Posted September 7, 2019 Spotted on the cruise decks, a country version of CLR. Awe, that’s a nice surprise. 8
Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 7, 2019 Author #1478 Share Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) A few photos from Hideaway Heist. You can see why the purest love this show over Fine Line. It has a lot more diving. Still has the spinning guy. 😉 In the day time you can see where and the scuba divers assist. There is also a wind metre. Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 7, 2019 Author #1482 Share Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) I saw something on the horizon so I looked through the solid mounted binoculars on our balcony. This is is what I saw. I then opened maps. Freeport. I can only imagine what the people there are going through there. It’s hard to believe that a day so calm could have been so different a week ago. This is the Google Earth image of the same area. Edited September 7, 2019 by A&L_Ont

It was about half the price of prebooking online. I wonder if Colonial Hilton would be the same if you just walked up? It looks nice. If it is the one I am thinking of, didn’t they film some scenes inside for one of the Bond movies? Actually, the BC was used in 2 Bond movies. The first was Thunderball in 1965. I remember the date because I was living in Nassau at the time.. I watched the Junkanoo filming from the upstairs storage room in my grandmother's store, it was where the Diamonds International is now, on Bay Street. I think the other one was Never Say Never Again.

We are hoping that someone will have cancelled the flight from Orlando to Toronto and we can make that one, but you never know. I can tell you this though, Lisa is on go home mode. And I can’t blame her. It has been an enjoyable two weeks but the itch is happening It’s time to get home. I understand completely how Lisa feels. I would be stir crazy by now. You all have been real troopers over the past few weeks. No place like home! i hope you do get in the flight to Toronto so you get home that much sooner. I’m sure by now Lucie will be back hone waiting for you all. Good Luck to Owen with his hockey and school. He has grown so much, loved the picture in the gift shop with the captains hat and shades. Thanks for sharing your journey once again.

Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 8, 2019 Author #1497 Share Posted September 8, 2019 Peter was our waiter two nights of this cruise. It didn’t stop him from saying goodbye to us, especially Owen. He also brought a bunch of napkins and a couple forks. He said to work pretty quickly. If you ever have a chance to have Peter at Chops please take it. He is spectacular. And this is what we ended up with. 9

Lol BTW, my baby brother and his family are onboard. A little late now to say hello. He’s a P but generally sails in Star Class. They got the short end of the stick on this cruise. I think he was on Oasis when they got extended days for I think Matthew. Have a a safe trip home. Enjoyed your thread. First Class.
