Had  a conversation today about flight costs while having a pedicure.  Prices are all over the map for flights depending on where you live.

I live in Vancouver Canada and I was able to book a flight from Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale for $400 per person.

On on a good deal Vancouver to Newfoundland is $750 per person.  *****

Orlando to anywhere in the Atlantic Provinces is hideous as well. We can get to YYV for half the cost of YYT, and it's double the distance.

1) I LOVE to be near the ocean.

2) You can be as active or lazy as you want without driving anywhere.

3) I like a different beach each day.

4) My cabin is cleaned twice a day.

5) My food decision is made for me (well 90% of the way). No asking

where are we going to eat all the time.

6) No driving myself anywhere.

7) Family members can do little things on their own and meet up for meals. (for example

teenagers can play basketball while dad works out and mom lays at the pool--then we

meet for lunch). All while not "going" anywhere.

8) Formal night. I would never dress up like that near home or on a land vacation.

9) I can eat terrible while my husband eats healthy and clean (at the same place).

10) No constant planning of activities. Just wonder around. Putt putt? Right there. Basketball??

100ft away. Library?? two decks down. Lunch..head to the aft of the ship. Nap?? Walk

back to your cabin. Swim?? You get my point.

This was an excellent question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cruising is the best. I feel fortunate to have found it early in life. :classic_biggrin:
