Casino Royal Question

I realize there is a certain period of time when you cruise per year to qualify for offers...my question, if I cruise on march 29,2020 do we get all the points with casino royal for the entire cruise or are we cut off on March 31, 2020

My understanding is the points are not added to your total to the end of your cruise so if you sailed 3/25 to 4/2 total would all be on your 4/2 date

I sort of asked this question recently of a casino host.  I don't think that they have the technical capability of separating daily points from cruise total points, once the cruise is over.  I mean, they COULD, but they DON'T.

So that would contribute to offers 2021-2022 and not 2020?

I asked the Casino Host on the Mariner recently about my DS21 who will make Prime on the November Harmony. She stated he would be Prime from the day he makes it on that cruise through March 31st 2021. I needed to make sure that him making Prime this November wouldn't expire in March 2020. That would not be such a good benefit...

Making prime would get you the benefit for the remainder of this reward year and the next reward year.  What the host told you about it being good until March 2021 is correct

Royal keeps track of their ships by departure date not end date.  I would strongly suspect that any cruise departing on or before March 31 would have the points added to that reward years total and not the following years.

People have reported different outcomes from sailing at the end of March 2019.  The casino host on some ships said that all points earned were awarded at the end of the cruise, so went to the 2019-2020 tier period. Another person reported seeing the casino host manually tracking points on two different spread sheets. Points earned March 29-31 went on one sheet and went to the 2018-2019 tier period. Points earned from April 1 to the end of the cruise were on a different spread sheet and were credited to the 2019-2020 tier year. So it seems like it was handled differently on different ships. We sailed mid-March and all points went to 2018-2019 tier year.
