PCruzer Posted October 6, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2019 Does anyone know the timeframe for the announcement of the 2021 Voyage of the Vikings itinerary?
Rare Mary229 Posted October 6, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2019 I called HAL Friday asking about the 2021 Europe season. They, of course, don’t disclose 😕. There was a thread a week or so ago where someone said sometime in October. I will be checking tomorrow
CruiserBruce Posted October 6, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2019 Normal release time would be in the next few weeks or month.
SummmerInKefalonia Posted October 7, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2019 Last year they announced the 2020 european itineraries on the 7th of October. So from today they are late for the 2021 season! 😛
John Deere Posted December 6, 2019 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2019 A couple of months ago I contacted HAL to be put on their list to be contacted when the V OF V 2021 became available to book. It cost $100 pp that would be applied to the reservation upon booking. Today I was contacted and was able to make our reservation. It should be showing up shortly on the website, after the early reservation requests have been completed. The itinerary is very similar to previous years July 17 - August 21. Lady Chew Posted December 9, 2019 #6 Share Posted December 9, 2019 (edited) I was on the website earlier today … and there it was! BUt they are only offering "restricted" (non-refundable deposits) or bundled fares. It's part of their 2021 European Launch, or something to that effect. I did not explore deeply on the website, just contacted my TA and she talked to HAL. We just want a cabin, not air fare or drink packages, and right now you can only book one of those two options. We'll wait until they offer the regular fares, in a few more months. And we'll hope they don't sell out with just these two options. VacationCharlene Posted December 9, 2019 #8 Share Posted December 9, 2019 We booked today 😁 Have been watching for this one to come out and FINALLY did on Friday. Europe 2021 Launch Offer and Conditions. It is true the options are poor right now...either a great price but Non-refundable deposit OR the total inclusive with EVERYTHING included i.e. airfare credit thru HA Flight Ease Program (up to $800 pp) prepaid gratuties for 1st & 2nd passenger, On-Board spending up to $500 per stateroom and not able to use in casino AND Signature Beverage Package of 15 drinks per person per day! You are paying for it for sure but for now we wanted to reserve a room and went with the larger, refundable, package and have plenty of time to change to another promotion, if wanted. LOVED This cruise this past year. Zaandam Saturday July 17, 2021 thru Saturday August 21, 2021 round trip Boston Hope to see you on board for a great time!!! knittinggirl Posted December 10, 2019 #9 Share Posted December 10, 2019 (edited) Looks like they priced themselves out of it for us! Glad to see Greenland is still on the itinerary. Is Seydisfjordur, Iceland a pier port, or a tender? Wasn't on the cruise ship tender port list. I do wish website support would add which are tender ports to their sales page. No Sydney nor Corner Brook. Edited December 10, 2019 by knittinggirl
VacationCharlene Posted December 10, 2019 #10 Share Posted December 10, 2019 knittinggirl.....I understand your "Looks like they priced themselves out for us" but remember if you book a REFUNDABLE room and RESERVE a room you can always change. Seydisfjordur is NOT a tender port :-) Also added a small place in Scotland.....Scrabster And another over-nighter in Reykajvik AND Rotterdam! LOVED NORWAY and Cruising Prince Christian Sound TWICE
