Transportation from Miami to Fort Lauderdale

We are flying into Miami and cruising out of Fort Lauderdale. Is there a shuttle. What would be the best option. Thanks for your help.

We've used Uber with very good success a few times from Miami to Port Everglades, and from Ft. Lauderdale to Port of Miami for cruises.  Dependable service and less costly in our experience than a taxi or other private shuttle.  BTW you can reserve your return trip from the port to the airport in advance with Uber.  (Airport to port is scheduled as usual through the app).

The best option is a stretch limo with a stocked bar 🍸I 😉

 

I agree with the above, UberX or Lyft between MIA and PE will run about $40 each way

Doing the same.  Because there are 5 of us we are renting a minivan and dropping it at the Alamo by the port.   Valet at the hotels is pricey so Uber does sound like a good idea!

For 5 plus bags you can use UberXL to get from FLL to POM for about $70+ and avoid the hassle of driving, gassing up, turn in and getting a shuttle to the port.  Something to consider unless you need the van for some other reason.

That’s the price of the rental but then we’ll probably need the expensive insurance bc well driving in Miami 🙂 .  Something to think about for sure!
