How about the breakfast?  Does diamond plus have access to the same breakfast  restaurant as suites?

Not usually, but you might find exceptions here and there.

Through our Concierge on FOS, we arranged for one on one service with one of the Port and Shopping guides, who helped my wife purchase the perfect ring at an amazing price in Aruba. We were so appreciative of the service, that we arranged for spa treatments for the P&SG, as well as the Concierge, (booked through the Concierge to her surprise).. As a side, you can contact them ahead of your cruise via email... I’ve always got a response and a welcome aboard email from them.

Empress for one. Brilliance used to let D+ with over 340 pts go to Chops

When we sailed empress , about a year or so ago, one had to have over 350 points to enjoy the suite/pinnacle breakfast at chops.

I guess it varies by number of crown and anchor members on board and the particular HD.

Guess we'll see once on board.   Just booked the Adventure.  We used to go on the Explorer a lot but once it left the area and added more cabins we gave up on it.  I believe the Adventure is the sister ship so we'll see if things are too crowded.  We got used to ships without so many people on board.

Thanks.   If I remember correctly that lounge on Liberty was small and when we went in for drinks before dinner it was so crowded you couldn't get a seat.

Yes freedom class had concierge lounge on the inside deck 8 with no windows.  Very small and not inviting in my opinion.

I will ask about D+ being allowed into the suite breakfast.  As a D+ we would not expect access as I have never had it on any ship we have sailed so far.  Luckily we will able to use it for the next 15 days weather they allow D+ in or not.  Oasis and Quantum class has a nice CK where breakfast, lunch and dinner is served.

Thanks.  That would be nice of you.  When we were on Liberty we had one of the best concierges we've ever had.  His name was Carlos.  He had found out we had issues in our suite and wondered why we didn't come to him.  We just told the stateroom attendant about it.   Anyway, Carlos found out they couldn't correct the issue and got us a refund and future cruise credit!  Also escorted us off the ship as soon as we were ready on both cruises we sailed with him.  How's that for service?  Of course he received a generous tip from us.

I got a letter from the suite concierge and her name is Nadja.  Will see find out the name of the diamond concierge later this evening.

Just asked the Chops manager.  For breakfast it is just suites and Pinnacles with gold card.

Nadja was our concierge on our Navigator cruise to Canary Islands.  I fell getting off tour bus the third day of the cruise.  Waited in medical office a very long time, but eventually checked out and found bruised and cut up but OK.  We wer exhausted back in the room and I said--call Nadja--ask her to get dinner for us.   Since I had a special diet, I had preordered.  She not only got them to bring the food but also our wine saved from the night before!

She also cancelled the reservations for tours that were now way too strenuous for an injured person.   She was super!

They're great at booking my CK dinners via email before my cruise (they have to hand off the request to the F&B department, but it's always worked for me).

If you invest a little time getting to know them, you may also be treated to a very private disembarkation.  I've been escorted with the elevator bypass card, across I-95 crew space, directly to the gangway when the elevators were packed solid and there was a wrap-around line on deck 5 to get off.

As with all things on a ship, reward folks when they help you out.  It's really appreciated.

This is helpful. My youngest will have his 2nd birthday on the ship in January and we are traveling with extended family so I want to have a little birthday party. Glad to hear that I can get some help from the concierge for that.

I think the concierge will love helping with that!  On our last cruise, we got invited to a 6 year old's birthday, and the chef made a special cake with a Troll's theme for that.  The parents brought the decorations, etc.  so the concierge only had to get the refreshments, but I think she helped decorate too!  I'm pretty sure the parents paid for the cake,  but you would do that if you were home. Of course, if it's a busy day, the concierge might not be able to help decorate, but might be able to get someone to help you.

Among many other things, such as fixing our messed up Unlimited Dining Plan lunch and dinner reservations and directing us to the suite-reserved sets in the theater and for the ice show, our wonderful concierge on the Voyager let us bring 4-6 non-suite persons with us to skip the lines getting on and off the ship for our three privately booked shore excursions in Vietnam.

I asked the concierge on Liberty of the Seas to get our group (five cabins all booked separately) at the same dining table. She was able to do it. This is for next week’s cruise.

So you contacted them ahead of time to make this request?  We are traveling with a large group in many cabins and I was wanting to do something similar.

Yes, as soon as I received the welcome email from concierge, I emailed her with the request to get us all at same table. I am on-board now. Nadja is a fantastic concierge. Very attentive.

HI Marycruz, just wondering what issues you had in your suite. We are currently on-board Liberty of the Seas in a grand suite. All is well, except the bathroom has an unpleasant aroma... It's not so terrible that you can't live with it, but you are reminded of it every time you step in there.

Hi.  We were in an owners suite on that cruise.  The shower water temperature would not stay on where you turned the faucet.  I actually got scalded with hot water while showering.  I would turn the faucet knob to cold and it would not stay there.  I couldn't get it to stay just warm.  It would keep switching to really hot.  Hard to take a shower that way.  We also had some weird noise by the balcony door and somehow they fixed that.  I think it had something to do with the fan that was next to the door.   Then we found out there was an egg crate on top of the matress which we didn't need so when we took it off it had a large stain on the reverse side so we left it at the foot of the bed on the floor and the cabin attendant took it out but I'm sure he saw that.  It looked like dried blood on that side.  I don't want to gross anyone out but we sure were upon seeing that.  I didn't tell the concierge about that because I'm sure the chief housekeeper saw it since she came to our cabin later to ask if everything was alright.

Anyway, those were the issues we had.  We were in a grant suite on our next cruise on Liberty and everything was great.   It was just hard to believe that someone just turned that egg topper over after seeing that it was  stained like that.

Hope you enjoy your suite but I would definitely report the smell.  They might be able to do something.  Could be something in the drain that they could just clean out.

I am so happy to hear that!  We will be on Liberty next month, and it will be our first time working with her.
