Will be sailing with him on infinity? Any thoughts? Fun?

We’re just off Infinity and I quite liked him. He is more energetic than the X CDs we have encountered in the past, but not in an over the top obnoxious way. We aren’t activities people so didn’t attend many events that he ran, but his introductions and closings at the main shows in the theater were very good. Well, the intros were good - we were usually on our way to dinner so missed a lot of his closings, lol.

 

One thing I REALLY liked is that, after the Captain handed him the mike for the day’s rundown, he seldom mentions anything that would cost more money. Some CDs use that opportunity to flog the shops, the spa, etc., but he really focused on activities and entertainment.

 

And he was friendly and personable around the ship.

We have sailed with Luigi a couple times.  Thought he was very energetic and personable, without being over the top like a certain female so many rave about but we find annoying as heck.

We just sailed with him on the TA and LOVED him! Have to say he is one of the best cruise directors we have ever had. Very personable and friendly....and full of energy, but not over the top. Would love to sail with him again!

Wasn’t Luigi an understudy to Sue and also to the tall, bald, Australian CD (can’t remember his name), before he actually became a CD himself?
