Kids on Jan 5?

Thinking of booking  RCL out of Galveston, Jan 5-12....anyone have experience with this timing? Will parents be keeping their children out of school for this sailing?  Thanks!

A lot fewer children than the week before, but still more than normal for winter, non-holiday.

If you book a 7 day cruise on Royal Caribbean there will be children onboard.  Royal Caribbean is a family oriented cruise line.

With so many home schoolers, there will always be kids on board, plus the ones too young to be in school.

There will be kids on ALL cruises, but most K-12 will be back in session, so I doubt you'll be overrun with kids.

We’re cruising Jan 26 out of Port Canaveral on a 7 day and we are taking our 13 year old with us. People don’t realize that there are states in the US where there are year round schools. We have breaks throughout the year which makes it super convenient to travel as a family.

We live in a new world, where kids go to school and don’t on schedules you will never be able to understand.  We’ve seen there no longer being a downtime at Disneyworld, cruises, and any other family event, so just make your decision based on your schedule.

we have cruised rcl out of galveston early jan sailing several times. a few kids but no problem, they have their things and we have ours. we are booked liberty jan 5.
