Does UDP cover upcharges in included restaurants?

For example, in the Solarium Bistro there is an upcharge for lamb chops, lobster etc. Even in the MDR I think there are upcharges for things. Are those covered if you have the UDP or would you have to pay?

Folks have reported that the upcharge items in the MDR are not covered - I'd assume the same for Solarium.

I was allowed to use the UDP for the upcharge on the Oasis and then when I tried on the Harmony I was told no.  I didn't push the issue

Looks like the T&C changed, playmakers and BBQ are $20, not $35.

We took advantage of the UDP credit on the Navigator at Playmakers to get the pulled pork sliders (excellent) , the loaded potato skins (not good, served lukewarm and cheese was way too thin) and medium-hot buffalo chicken wings (worst I have ever had anywhere, tiny, not much meat, overcooked).
