MSC Grandiosa suffers a scrape in Palermo

Looks like the end to an interesting year for MSC with the MSC Grandiosa having a scrape in Palermo. I suspect that the rapid fleet expansion is keeping their training and promotions department busy and we are seeing a few teething issues. It will be interesting to see the report from the MSC Opera.

The current captain is Marco Massa and he´s experienced.

 

Heavy gusts of wind can appear suddenly... same happened to the Carnival Glory a couple of days ago only that she touched her sister Carnival Legend in Cozumel (which much more damage to the Glory).

I help admin a FB page, the owner is currently onboard, his video was interesting, the damage to the ship minimal but the pier needs repair.
