What time to depart ship on disembarkment day?

You can have breakfast in your room. Just set out the breakfast card the night before. We are always in a state of confusion on that day, so, having breakfast in the room is a lot easier.

Remember, that unless you choose to carry your own luggage off the ship, your luggage will have been pickup during the night.

You will need to have all your morning necessities in a carry on.

As a rule the dining room closes down by 8 so that late arrivals can be finished by 9:30.  The buffet also closes down between 8 and 8:30 so that they can get everything cleaned before the next passengers arrive.

We gave up on room service many years ago -- especially on disembarkation day -- breakfast never arrived after several calls by us and our concierges.  That is a hectic day for passengers and crew.

You should be off the ship no later than 9:30.

If in Neptune we try to do breakfast in the Pinnacle.  Last cruise we had a late flight so we waited for 15 minutes AFTER our color was called and that way we were able to walk right off (even though other colors were lined up waiting).  PLUS, very easy to find our bags!
