Towels on Sunbeds

Just returned from Western Caribbean on Regal, our 2nd cruise on Regal in 6 months. First sea day we went to the Retreat at 9am to find all sunbeds had towels on them apart from 2 random some distance apart. We carried them to an area we could have them side by side. It was annoying to say the least watching people who came looking for beds and were unable to get any. By lunchtime only 50% of the beds had guests on them, no staff attempted to remove towels after the alleged 30min period. I even overheard a couple who arrived 3 hours after we’d been there saying they were up at 7am putting towels out....next sea day 8.30am no beds available at all...same scenario still half occupied by lunchtime.

Princess really needs to address this sort of childish behaviour, we had no problem on our Baltic cruise in Aug but this has definitely put us off cruising with Princess

there was a post on here some time ago … and to paraphrase

A dude came back to find "his" lounger occupied by an elderly lady … he stated to her that he had placed the towel there...

and she stated … and you did such a fine job, young man … now if you don't mind can you bring me a Gin and Tonic ?

There are jerks everywhere. The "policy" (even though it is almost never enforced) is something like 30 minutes. If you are there and nobody shows up to use the lounger simply remove their towel and make yourself comfortable. It's like people who try to save a bunch of seats in the theater. To heck with them. Just sit down as saving seats isn't allowed. As long as passengers let the jerks get away with this type of behavior it's never going to get better.

It is on every ship at every public pool/area where there are loungers.
