Betty in Cozumel Posted January 15, 2020 #29 Share Posted January 15, 2020 We got cranberry juice every night for dinner in the MDR and twice in the Pinnacle Grill but I think that waiter had to go get it from somewhere else. As soon as we sat down in the MDR, our waiter brought us 2 cranberry juices without even asking for them.
peanutter Posted January 15, 2020 #30 Share Posted January 15, 2020 Oh wow, I see guava juice on the list - really?! That is wonderful. My DH loves it. I'm pleasantly surprised to see all of the options and am looking forward to a few of them on our next cruise 🙂 Thanks for offering this list.

Rare Hlitner Posted January 16, 2020 #32 Share Posted January 16, 2020 This thread made me smile. "Ordinary coffee" is not what I would call that stuff they put in a coffee cup. But that is not a specific HAL problem. As to the free drinks at the various Mariner's club events one has to measure that against the "pain" of going to those events (yes, I know those events are the highlight of some cruiser's lives). The last time I suggested attending a Mariner's Club event to DW I received "the look" along with the comment that "we can pay for our drinks." As we sat at a bar and noticed the long queue to get into that Mariners Club function I had to admit that DW had a good point. Hank
Rare FlaMariner Posted January 17, 2020 #33 Share Posted January 17, 2020 Just thought of two more "included in your base fare" drinks not using the word FREE....Decaffeinated Coffee and Decaffeniated hot tea.....I'm disappointed the experts on this board did not point out these major omissions.....Here's the updated list....Any others? Water Iced Tea Coffee Decaffeinated Coffee Lemonade Hot Tea (a bunch of choices including Decaffeinated Coffee) Hot Chocolate Hot Water (add a lemon) Milk, Whole Milk, 2% Milk, Skim Almond Milk Chocolate Milk Orange Juice Pineapple Juice Grape Juice Prune Juice Grapefruit Juice Apple Juice Guava Juice Cranberry Juice Tomato Juice V8 Also, alcohol is free (no up-charge or included in your base fare lol) at the "meet the officers" reception first gala night & the mariner welcome aboard reception & probably other events we are not privy to as lowly 3 Stars. 2 bottles of wine w/no corkage brought on at embarkation

I do not wish to change my verbage but thanks for suggesting. I think I'll not change my post. 🙂 I do, however, add ice cream in Lido to the growing list of things included in our fare with no charge at time of consumption. Fresh squeezed in the Pinnacle Grill at breakfast (for NS & above) Neptune Lounge and room service last time I was on board. OJ is in the LIdo was drinkable and seemed to be a mix? Not sure but it wasn’t fresh squeezed OJ. Only the NS and above can book the Pinnacle Grill for breakfast?

And as buffets were unlimited there was a certain "abandonment" that accompanied life at sea, for better or worse. Freedom seems a reasonable descriptor. "Inclusive" rather than "free" says the same thing, is more accurate but is not as poetic. I prefer poetry - it is the romantic in me.🤣
jimmy2x Posted January 23, 2020 #43 Share Posted January 23, 2020 Very nice review. Am considering doing the 14 day cruise in 2021, but am a bit concerned about the lack of a real pool on the stern. Did you find that to be an issue?
