sandc4e Posted January 12, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2020 Hi all, I enjoy having my frozen drinks while cruising BBC, Dirty Monkey, daquiris, mudslides etc. Which package would cover frozen drinks? Thank you! Sheila
helen haywood Posted January 12, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2020 Both. The only difference is the brand of liquor used. Classic will use well brands and Premium will use call brands. (If you specifically request the call brand...)
Rare keesar Posted January 12, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2020 We often have frozen drink at the pool bar under our Classic Package. Sometimes, they will make up a pitcher of drinks and then pour them in glasses for cruisers. I cannot tell the difference between the liquors and I am happy. I have noted that the added liquor may va by brand.
sandc4e Posted January 12, 2020 Author #4 Share Posted January 12, 2020 Thank you! Previously on Celebrity we had the Premium package so I wanted to be sure. Thank you!
Rare aml3679 Posted January 14, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2020 My husband is a bigger drinker than I am likes premium alcohol - I am not as fussy. Classic for me and Premium for him. It covers most frozen up to $9 - I just pay the difference if I need to.
Luvcrusn Posted January 14, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 14, 2020 (edited) I've ordered frozen daquiris, mudslides, frozen toasted almonds, pina coladas, frozen margaritas, grasshoppers, etc. all on the Classic package without any up charge Edited January 14, 2020 by Luvcrusn
tyr00000ne Posted January 14, 2020 #7 Share Posted January 14, 2020 I had the premium drinks package and would specify "Bacardi 8" or "Zacapa" when I ordered a blended rum drink for example. Otherwise I'm sure I would have gotten the standard well liquor (which still isn't bad). Try the pina colada with Bacardi Oakheart!

Beanb41 Posted January 15, 2020 #9 Share Posted January 15, 2020 Frozen cocktails can be made with both classic and Premium spirits. I challenge anyone drinking these cocktails with all the mixers etc added to tell the difference between classic spirits and premium spirits, besides unless you were watching the drink being made how would you know.

If having more than 2 or so, you would know the next morning. 🙂

CaptainZ Posted January 16, 2020 #12 Share Posted January 16, 2020 This site has a copy of all the drink menus from every venue on Reflection as of Dec. 2019. https://celebritycruisecafe.mn.co/ I used it to download copies on my phone and take them with me while I'm on the ship. I'm surprised Celebrity hasn't added this to their app or maybe that's coming in the future.
CosmicCharlie Posted January 17, 2020 #13 Share Posted January 17, 2020 Generally, premium spirits are best enjoyed neat or on the rocks. And, yes, you can definitely tell the difference. Using mixers allows the use of ‘lesser’ liquors. For me, I would mix Maker’s Mark with coke... but wouldn’t do that with Pappy Van Winkle or Blanton’s.
