Someone in an 'unmentionable group posted the board pic and said she got off on Sunday, and that said Susan. A few minutes later, someone else said they were onboard, and the board said Luke. IDK. It was difficult to try to figure out who was where when I added HGM. It will get figured out 😉 I hope lol.

The HGM is certainly an important role, but not normally public-facing.  That said, I don't see why couldn't be added to the chart, but it does add to the work of contributors posting or anyone wanting to check the currency of the info.

I have seen this happen a lot and it increases the effort for someone else to correct and update.  I do agree the chart makes it easier to check on who is where rather than look at several photo boards.

I see this new column has been added.  I think space is tight and adding yet another column seems not feasible in order to keep things readable.

Do what needs to be done. I know that, personally, on my last 25 cruises I have more involvement with HGMs, than I ever do with DROs, which was why I was all for adding them. My comment was based on one or two posts suggesting yet another column.  The chart seems wide enough now with the HGM added is all.  On the DROs - I would say that the individual DR Mgrs seem to have more "power" to act and set guests up with arrangements than happened in the past.  Since DMW, I have had success working with the DR Mgr and not needed the DRO, but have spoken with one or two about DMW (more near its outset than recently).  FYI, I have not been on a ship since Nov 2022.

The chart is formatting on the page as too wide. I tried adjusting and changing font size, but the HGM column won't hold it. Maybe someone with more skills than I have can make it work. If not, it's all good. I thought that if I formatted the columns, they would copy/paste correctly. That'll teach ME to think 🤣

I applaud adding the HGM column to the chart.  We have continually suggested that the HGMs be more visible during the voyage by walking through the Platinum/Elite lounge, being a part of the MTL and visiting the Suite Lounge on ships that have the Concierge Lounge.  Conversations in areas where there are passengers that have experience and stakeholder position with Princess is often constructive and bring about suggestions on improvement for everyone. The HGM is responsible for operations of the hotel and with that they have direct presence with all the passengers more so than the ED.

Removed DRO Anton Criva from the Sapphire.  DRO Silviu Criva (now on the Royal) and Anton are the same person.  His legal first name is Anton, but he goes by his middle of Silviu.

May I suggest using Google Sheets? It can be updated easily, and if permission is granted, anyone can edit it. I use it for Roll Calls, Meet-and-Greets, Port Excursions, Slot Pulls, etc.

Here's an example: I've hidden all the personal information, but this should give you an idea of the possibilities.

 

On the bottom, notice Roll Call, Meet & Greet List for October 19, Slot Pull, etc. These are sheets (pages) that could be added if necessary.

 

I made it colorful to separate specific events, etc.  It's a possible option to consider.

Hi Sherri. I think it's a great idea, but this isn't my call. I didn't create the table, nor do I have anything other than randomly updating it, as do others, using the same initial format. This group was started years before I joined CC. 😉  I'm not even sure who is in charge. Maybe those who know much more than I do will chime in.

 

On a side note, I have used Google Sheets for just Meet & Greet and Slot Pulls, and let people put in their own info. How do you keep it 'not messed up' for lack of a better term at 6:30 on a Sat? lol
