Which side port or starboard Whitier -- Vancouver?

We are going on the cruise tour in June 2021 and we want to know which side of the ship is best  port or starboard on a south bound sailing. 

We will be doing the land tour first then the cruise from Whittier to Vancouver, my wife has been watching videos and reading reviews and they stated you 

must be on the Port side for the best viewing. We know that they turn the ship in Glacier Bay so everyone gets a great view.  What are your thoughts or is either 

side good.

Port but I don't think it matters. I have done a B2B and couldn't notice the difference.

We did Port. that puts you facing inland as you cruise South.

At all of the scenic areas, the ship will make sure both sides get viewing on the way in and out, and in front of the major Glaciers.

 

Do a pre-boarding boat cruise of PWS and College Fjord before boarding!  (such as the 26 glacier tour)

I recommend not staying in your cabin on a day of scenic cruising (i.e. anytime land is in view).  It's usually too cool to be outside for long, except maybe in July and August.  We've sailed there in May, June and Sept. and always were outside as much as possible to enjoy the view, weather permitting, even though we had an oceanview cabin.

Port side for Southbound. You’ll have equal glacier viewing on either side, but you’ll have the most land views sailing on the Port side.

I recommend being on deck the entire day!
