Category C2 (Deck 4) on R-Ships

We're considering a C2 cabin on Insignia, Deck 4, cabins 4000-4007, but are concerned about noise from the lounge on Deck 5 just above.  Any information?  Thanks!

I'd also be concerned about chain noise in that hawspipe if you're doing any anchoring.

Definitely DON'T get a connecting room or by the elevators...I had one and it was the worst room EVER!! (I think it was 4021). The people next door weren't noisy but I could hear everything they said and their tv. During disembarkation at ports, everyone is walking down the halls...crowded and noisy.

It is where the Anchor chain is.  They are on both sides.

How often are any of us on a ship?

We were in 4005 on Sirena.  Wondered about the same thing before we went, but it wasn't a problem at all.

another concern would be if the seas are bumpy 

one of our friends  was bounced out of bed  when they were in the front cabin

We were just above the lounge on our first O voyage, and we never heard a thing.  As for the anchors, this tends to be when you are arriving in port, so we were up to get ready to eat and go off and visit wherever we were.  IF you were asleep up near the bow, and we were directly below the bridge, you will definitely hear the anchor chains moving.  Rather than sleeping at that point, I was often out on our veranda watching the deck crew as we entered port.

I am on Sirena now in 4001. Have not heard a thing from the lounge above. We do hear the bow thrusters as we dock in the morning but we are up by then anyways.

Friends were in 4003 on Regatta and they were disturbed by docking noises in the morning. They won't take a room so close to the bow again on a low deck.
