VistasBe Posted February 3, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2020 We are sailing on Regal this month. Do any of the specialty dining restaurants serve lunch on sea days? If yes, are reservations required and is there an additional charge? Thank you.
Croptop Posted February 3, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2020 The specialty restaurants don't serve lunch with the exception of Alfredo's. Alfredo's is open every day for lunch regardless of whether you are in port or at sea. Reservations aren't required and there's no cover charge. We were on the Regal Eastern Caribbean route a week ago and sadly there was no pub lunch. I was disappointed because it is one of our favorites. antsp Posted February 3, 2020 #7 Share Posted February 3, 2020 Pub lunch is only on sea days, but not every sea day, seems a bit random
VistasBe Posted February 4, 2020 Author #8 Share Posted February 4, 2020 Can you share more about the Pub Lunch? If scheduled, where is it held?

Traditionally held in the wheelhouse bar. Menu is the usual pub food. Bangers and mash, fish and chips, steak pie, and several other choices. I recommend the Bangers and mash with a Boddingtons beer. 🙂
Rare geoherb Posted February 4, 2020 #10 Share Posted February 4, 2020 Here's a pub lunch menu board from my cruise on the Caribbean Princess in December.
KreinKrunker Posted February 4, 2020 #11 Share Posted February 4, 2020 The Scotch Eggs are very good. The other menu has a Bread & Butter Pudding for dessert, it is delightful.

I see that they’ve had to dumb down the menu just a smidge. What was originally scampi and chips as it’s known in the UK, is now shown as breaded prawns and chips. That too, along with everything else on the menu goes very nicely with a can of Boddington’s (or Stongbow cider if it’s my wife! 🙂 )
