pmfan Posted February 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2020 Which low cost off site Port Everglades parking site do you recommend? Why?
capriccio Posted February 6, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2020 Do a search on this forum and you will find Park N Go highly recommended. You can save money by booking on line - and the further in advance you make the reservation the cheaper the price usually. https://www.bookparkngo.com/
RocketMan275 Posted February 8, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2020 Of course, you should take note that using off port parking has it's disadvantages. It's far more convenient and faster to use the port parking. First, you have to wait for the pickup van, then you have to wait for it too fill, make multiple stops, etc. Sure, it's cheaper but we prefer to pay the difference because we can get on the road faster.

It's so nice to have a choice...way better than what Miami folks have. Park n Go isn't hurting, for sure...there were >0< spaces until we loaded up and left when we returned 2 weeks ago. And the $50. we saved over the parking garage paid for lunch. BTW, for those sailing Princess, Port Everglades has major construction underway to enlarge the parking facility.
Fivelinks Posted February 11, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 11, 2020 Does anyone know if Park and Go takes your keys? I know they don't at the port. We don't want anyone to potentially move our vehicle or go into it for any reason...
Saturngrl Posted February 11, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 11, 2020 Park n Go does take your keys. You drop off your car when you enter, and they park it for you. On Disembarkation Day, the shuttle drops you off by your car and the keys are inside waiting for you. You may want to park at the port to guarantee no one legally enters your car. eagletwo Posted February 12, 2020 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2020 We have used Park n Fly for our last two cruises from Ft. Lauderdale. They don't take your keys, nice drivers and no problem with pick up after the cruise. Will use them again on our next cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. Wish they were in Miami. tennispretzel Posted February 12, 2020 #8 Share Posted February 12, 2020 When we got to Park n Go on Sunday Feb 2 at 10:20 it was super busy. They valet parked it and kept the keys. Took us to the port immediately. On return, there was a shuttle waiting and the driver called ahead which cars were needed. When we got to the lot our car was right up front, we exited the van and the driver put the bags in our trunk. From our disembarkation to driving away in our car it was HALF hour. I have never had such good service...and they gave us cold water bottles for our trip home. We paid $83 in advance for 7 days(but I didn't have to pay in advance) This was the second time we've used them and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again.
