Rebels82 Posted February 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2020 Any suggestions for a Quebec City hotel the night before a cruise? The first night of the cruise will be overnight so we will be staying a night at the pier on the ship. Thanks.
Kenswing Posted February 5, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2020 We stayed at the Hotel Le Priori. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g155033-d185645-Reviews-Hotel_Le_Priori-Quebec_City_Quebec.html Price was reasonable. Staff and hotel were great. Was close enough to walk to the port.
Rare 1025cruise Posted February 6, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2020 You might want to ask on the New England/Canada ports of call forum.

MJSailors Posted February 6, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 6, 2020 The Frontenac would be my choice.
Rare KYBOB Posted February 6, 2020 #7 Share Posted February 6, 2020 I would highly recommend the Auberge Saint - Antoine Hotel. I would also make a reservation for their restaurant for dinner it is amazing an the will be booked up most nights. The hotel is literally across the street from the dock. We easily walked from the ship to the hotel with our luggage. Rooms are nice and spacious. Also had a very nice bar. View from our window of the ship. Ship in the back ground
Anubi Posted February 7, 2020 #8 Share Posted February 7, 2020 There are a lot of lovely B&B's in Quebec City not far from the Chateau Frontenac. You should look into one of them and take a cab to the pier. 🙂
Sailingpeace Posted February 7, 2020 #9 Share Posted February 7, 2020 What kind of hotel do you prefer and where are you on the budget scale ? Will you have time to enjoy the city before boarding or is it just to sleep the night before ? Do you need to do some pre-cruise shopping ? Rebels82 Posted February 7, 2020 Author #10 Share Posted February 7, 2020 Thanks to everyone. We booked the Hotel Le Priori for our Sept. cruise. Good thing since there was only 1 room left.

Ship in the back ground i can second this. even the bar/restaurant in the lobby was great. and the breakfast buffet is totally worth it. i got upgraded to a terrace suite last time and it was nice, even in December with snow i went out every morning for a few minutes of fresh air. i can also recommend the PUR in st roch area, a short uber to port, but puts you right in a nice shopping/restaurant nightlife district.
