Delayed Anthem hotel reimbursement

Hello, I was on the recent Anthem delayed sailing, I have not yet received reimbursement for hotel expenses.  I did receive an email stating the expenses were being paid.  Has anyone received their reimbursement yet?  I also have not received my future cruise credit yet, anyone received that as well?  Thanks.

Emailed receipt to RCCL.  Received email back 2-3 days later stating credit issued.

We had our FCC emailed to us last Friday while on cruise.

RCI Usually issues the credit when they tell you they do, however your credit card institution may no yet have posted it.

I use a debit/credit card in most cases with Royal. It typically takes some time for my bank to issue the refund. I want to say 5-10 days.

Just got off the phone with RCCL.  They are "backed up" and are processing refunds, FCC 'as fast as they can".  No ETA available.

Haven’t gotten my hotel or airfare reimbursement yet.  I just got my cruise refund today.

I received my refundable OBC today as well.  Hopefully the FCC and hotel reimbursement will come soon despite being told they would come by Feb 14 at 6pm.

Finally received the hotel reimbursement.  Still waiting for promised FCC.  Customer service not of any help.

So, exactly how long did it take for hotel reimbursement after they received your hotel receipts?

About 2 weeks.  The problem is that RCCL was not keeping their promised timeline and customer service had no information.

This "delayed" hotel reimbursement is for the February 7th Anthem sailing.

You haven’t given any specifics. About this.....

 

Exactly how many days from Royals confirmed receipt of receipts did your  refund show up?

 

As asked before, was this a debit/credit card?

 

About 2 weeks, 10 days?  I know debit/credit cards take their time about releasing funds and they don’t count weekends.

Understood but counter shouldn’t start for hotel until receipts are confirmed at Royal. Then the counter starts. Banks can and do often hold refunds for up to 10 days. Especially if using a bank debit/credit card.

Above they say they were supposed to received by February 14th.  Either way, it hasn't even been two weeks since this ship was supposed to sail and there was a Federal holiday in that time.  Not seeing the "delay".

Just a short update to hotel reimbursement we sent copy of receipt to RCCL on Sunday evening. Monday morning received an email from Royal customer service accepting our receipt and refund should come within 5 to 10 days. Our refund was posted last night to our credit card on file. Hopefully others get their reimbursements as easily as us.
